Join Holy Family’s New Bible Study – Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible
If you have ever wanted to read the Bible, but stopped in frustration or confusion, then Holy Family’s new bible study, Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible is for you. This study makes reading the Bible not only easy, but even exciting.
In this Study, you will learn the major people, places, events and themes of the Bible. It is a great way to get the “big picture” of the Bible and to see how our Catholic Faith is rooted in Scripture. This overview then makes your Bible reading and even the Sunday Mass readings come alive like never before.
Each meeting of this eight session course includes a half-hour video presentation by Jeff Cavins, a renowned Catholic biblical scholar and author. The video will be followed by an engaging group discussion.
Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible, an 8 evening study, will be offered here at Holy Family in the Aquin Center, on Tuesday evenings, starting on Sep. 26th, at 7:15 PM.
The cost of the student materials is $20, payable at registration. Please register at the parish office by Sep 6th. Note – Participants who register after Sep. 8th may not have study materials for the first two classes.
